I am Juvin Jenkins

Juvin Jenkins is a man very important to me. When I can’t speak, he shouts. When I sleep, he works. Namely, Juvin Jenkins was one who no one understood, because he was one they never knew. Now he is heard, and I can understand.

I find myself frustrated by the limitations of language by itself. One can still be fully misunderstood by what he says, how he acts, where he goes, and until you can think my thoughts, you will never know Juvin Jenkins, but this is the closest you can get.

Above all, this is my place to lay down my thoughts, so I can make sense of them. It is a place where I can think boldly in a world of easy information. I am here to pretend I have wisdom so that I may one day obtain it.

In the world today, wisdom falls to convenience. Deep thought is no longer deep enough. Why? Because we are distracted – distracted by the knowledge constantly presented to us. This reminds me of the great quote by T.S. Eliot, “Where is the life we have lost in living? Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge. Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?”

Kapeesh?
